Designed on TI CC2642R-Q1 AEC-Q100 compliant MCU, the BLE module RF-BM-2642QB1I features low power consumption, excellent radio sensitivity and robustness for automotive applications, including Passive Entry Passive Start (PEPS), Phone as a Key (PaaK), and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

RF-BM-2642QB1I is RF-star’s new automotive qualified Bluetooth module based on CC2642R-Q1 AEC-Q100 compliant MCU. It has a 48-MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4F processor with 352 KB Flash and 88 KB RAM, offering ample storage capacity for diverse automotive functionalities. The CC2642R-Q1 module Bluetooth transceiver can operate in a wide temperature range from -40℃ to 105℃, delivering high radio performance even in challenging conditions.

The automotive module maintains pin-to-pin compatibility with RF-star’s CC2642R series modules RF-BM-2642B1 and RF-BM-2642B2, facilitating effortless integration and scalability for Internet of Vehicles(IoV).

RF-BM-2642QB1I Bluetooth transceiver boasts a low standby current of 2.49uA and 25.58uA TX at 0 dBm, extending battery life and making it perfect for power-sensitive automotive uses.

AEC-Q100 Compliance

With AEC-Q100 certification for Grade 2 temperature range (-40 °C to +105 °C), the CC2642R-Q1 module ensures reliable stability and durability for pre-installed vehicle applications.

High RF Performance

With outstanding radio sensitivity and robustness for BLE (-105 dBm for 125-kbps LE Coded PHY, -97 dBm for 1-Mbps PHY), the module ensures reliable wireless connectivity even in demanding environments. Its TX power is up to + 5 dBm with temperature compensation. 

Bluetooth LE5.0 serial port transmission

The BLE module with UART function for 4 operating modes can facilitate seamless integration and shorten the project development cycle.
