As one of the new-released CC2340Rx modules, RF-BM-2340A2, just like RF-BM-2340B1 based on CC2340R5 series MCUs also simultaneously supports multiple protocols, including Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy, ZigBee 3.0, SimpleLinkTM TI 15.4-stack, and Proprietary system. However, this BLE module is optimized for a much smaller size with a high-performance onboard inverted-F PCB antenna, up to 12 GPIO and rich peripherals, such as UART, I2C and SPI. It is treated as a UART Bluetooth module to shorten the development cycle of these IoT design projects to the markets and empower BLE devices to connect stably and reliably.

Multiple Protocols Supported

Supporting BLE 5.3, ZigBee, SimpleLink™ TI 15.4-stack, and proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols, CC2340 modules are suitable for lighting control, home healthcare, smart building, etc.

2.4GHz RF Transceiver

All CC2340 modules provide an ultra-low-power 2.4 GHz radio transceiver with support for multiple modulations, which are compatible with BLE 5.3, including the high-speed 2 Mbps physical layer (2M PHY) and the long-range PHY (Coded PHY).

Rich Peripherals

RF-BM-2340A2, like RF-BM-2340A2I module, offers 12 GPIOs in stamp half-hole package and supports rich peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, etc.

Serial Port (UART) Protocol

RF-BM-2340A2 is embedded with the BLE5.0 transparent transmission protocol (serial port protocol) to realize rich functions with AT commands.

Robust Onboard PCB Antenna

RF-BM-2340A2 wireless module with inverted-F PCB antenna on board can offer a better RF performance and reduce your project’s costs.
